Writers’ Studio and Production Studio

In 2024, I secured funding from the Charlotte Aitken Trust to transform two of An Tobar’s rooms into a new creative writers’ studio and production studio. This will create a new space for writers to focus, musicians to record, theatremakers to experiment with film and sound, and technicians to hone their skills. The Writers’ Studio will also feature a bespoke mural by Glasgow artist, Ellie Mills (EllieType). We aim for these facilities to open new avenues for creative partnerships and talent development. Moreover, it will strengthen An Tobar and Mull Theatre’s position as a leading and innovative cultural space on the Scottish, national, and international stages.
