Sensory Room

An Tobar and Mull Theatre’s new sensory room will be tailored to An Tobar’s space, providing two areas for visitors to engage with sensory material. This includes a quiet zone and an area where visitors can interact with lighting, gentle sound, and specialist sensory equipment. We aim for this to increase the accessibility of our spaces and to provide essential support for neurodiverse community members and visitors, so that everyone can participate in our work and engage with the arts. The creation of this new space was due to a new funding partnership with Wooden Spoon, a charity supporting disadvantaged young people.
